What do you like about working with Anders Group?
I’ve had nothing but positive things to say about Anders. They are professional and work well to fit my needs.
Why do you love your recruiter?
I was always one to jump from agency to agency after each contract (they say you have more options that way) but after my first assignment with Anders and my AMAZING recruiter Melissa I will not go anywhere else. She is by far my favorite. She is personable, easy to talk to, and ALWAYS willing to help.
What made you get into traveling?
I decided to travel because my parents are both deceased and my siblings lived out of state so why not? I have no husband, no children, and thought I can experience the United States and get paid to do it. Win-win situation
So far, what has been your favorite assignment location while working with us and why?
My favorite by far is Aspirus Grandview in Upper Peninsula, MI. It’s peaceful, lots of hiking trails, and I can’t say enough about how great the staff is.
Where are some dream locations that you’d love to work in?
Definitely Hawaii!!! The Virgin islands and Alaska too!
What is your favorite thing about traveling?
The new experiences at each location
What were some struggles you’ve faced while traveling?
Finding my own housing can be a challenge for sure
Do you have any crazy “while on assignment” stories for us? Please Share!
While in Arizona, I went to the beach on a Saturday to “relax” and was surprised when bathing suits were “optional”😳
What are some items on your must have list when packing for an assignment?
I take my car so I bring as much as possible (pampered chef, hangers, personal touches, family pics)
If you met someone that was considering travel, what pearls of wisdom would you give them?
I would tell them to enjoy every minute! Worse case is you go to a place you end up hating, it’s only for 3 months! There is a light at the end of the tunnel and NO POLITICS.
