Do you have any crazy “while on assignment” stories for us? Please Share!
Nothing super crazy but just amazing; while on assignment in Alaska, I stayed there for a month after the assignment ended, rented a car, drove across the state, stopping to camp, hike, explore the area. It was so mind-blowing, bears, moose, elk, huge glaciers to hike around, endless mountains and the ocean.
So after driving across Alaska, I dropped the rental car off and got on a shuttle to a cruise ship and took this incredible cruise down along the coast of Alaska and Canada ending in Vancouver, making amazing stops along the way.
What are some items on your must-have list when packing for an assignment?
Camping/hiking gear, basic essentials (clothes for all different weather) extra good shoes.
If you met someone that was considering travel, what pearls of wisdom would you give them?
