This Med Surg travel nurse job in Alexandria, Louisiana, is a 13-week Registered Nurse (RN) assignment with Anders Group. This role pays $2,116 per week and follows a night shift with a 3x12 schedule.
Med Surg is the backbone of hospital nursing, and this assignment puts your organization and clinical range to work. You'll juggle a full caseload with everything from post-op recovery to chronic condition management, keeping care organized and moving.
Requirements for this Travel Med Surg Assignment
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Louisiana RN license or Compact License, if applicable
- Current BLS certification
Responsibilities for Med Surg travel job:
- Provide bedside nursing care in the Med/Surg unit
- Create and update individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
- Promote patient safety and quality outcomes
