"I received a phone call containing great news on the morning of my birthday before getting ready for the last week of my internship: that I was chosen for the Anders Group Scholarship 2023! At that moment, all relief and excitement flooded in at the same time because this was the greatest birthday gift I could have received. I was beyond grateful because this scholarship would help me pay for my education in which I am actively and passionately pursuing in the healthcare field as a pre-health student at Boston College. I have always loved the community that the healthcare world has provided, as I am both the patient and a (hopeful future) worker, and the Anders Group Scholarship has supported me in my endeavor to help the world become a better place one step at a time.
