## 2024 Winner
## Sebastian H.
"As I was sitting at the kitchen table reading some emails on my laptop, I received a call from an unfamiliar number. Normally I do not answer unfamiliar numbers, but this time I decided to–and I’m so glad I did. “Is this Sebastian? What if I told you you had been chosen for the 2024 Anders Group Scholarship?” When I heard those words, a smile immediately came across my face. I could not believe the amazing news. This scholarship will help tremendously in my educational journey in STEM at Columbia University and beyond. My goal is to make an impact on the medical world through technology, and I am beyond grateful for the support of the Anders Group in reaching my future goals. I am just as grateful for all of the healthcare workers–in particular my older brother–who work tirelessly despite many challenges to make the world a better, safer place. A big thank you to the Anders Group for this scholarship and to have had their team connect so deeply with my story!"

## 2023 Winner
## Sophie L.
"I received a phone call containing great news on the morning of my birthday before getting ready for the last week of my internship: that I was chosen for the Anders Group Scholarship 2023! At that moment, all relief and excitement flooded in at the same time because this was the greatest birthday gift I could have received. I was beyond grateful because this scholarship would help me pay for my education in which I am actively and passionately pursuing in the healthcare field as a pre-health student at Boston College. I have always loved the community that the healthcare world has provided, as I am both the patient and a (hopeful future) worker, and the Anders Group Scholarship has supported me in my endeavor to help the world become a better place one step at a time. Thank you so much Anders Group for listening to my story and supporting me as I continue on my journey to be part of the beautiful healthcare community that I have grown to love!"
