See all CT Tech jobsAbout New Haven, CT
New Haven, CT combines a compact city on Long Island Sound with a healthcare district concentrated around downtown medical blocks and nearby neighborhoods. Imaging and radiology settings across central New Haven add a clear diagnostic layer to the labs and outpatient rehabilitation already present. Downtown sits beside the I-95/I-91 interchange, while Route 34 feeds directly toward the medical area. Hamden and Branford give travelers two distinct housing directions outside the core, and Wooster Square, where the pizza's famous, gives the near-downtown blocks their own draw. Union Station adds Metro-North access toward New York, an option most midsize markets can't offer. Travelers can compare a concentrated medical district with nearby residential areas and rail-connected neighborhoods rather than planning around a car-only commute.
