This Labor and Delivery travel nurse job in Smyrna, Tennessee, is a 13-week Registered Nurse (RN) assignment with Anders Group. This role pays $1,753 per week and follows a day shift with a 3x12 schedule.

Few assignments match the intensity and reward of labor and delivery. You'll guide families through one of the biggest days of their lives, staying alert to changes in both mother and baby from admission through recovery.

Requirements for this Travel Labor and Delivery Assignment

  • 2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active Tennessee RN license or Compact License, if applicable
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications

Responsibilities for Labor and Delivery travel job:

  • Provide bedside nursing care in the L&D Labor & Delivery unit
  • Create and update individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
  • Promote patient safety and quality outcomes
