About Charleston, SC
Charleston, SC keeps its history on the peninsula and its healthcare everywhere else: imaging settings reach across West Ashley, James Island, North Charleston, and Mount Pleasant, with therapy work spread along the same arc. A downtown address suits some contracts and complicates others, since the suburban care sites sit in every direction off the peninsula. Mount Pleasant, North Charleston, and Summerville are the usual housing counterweights, each claiming a different side of the metro. Central Charleston stays compact and walkable when the assignment doesn't pull the week elsewhere. Evenings tend to drift back toward the water anyway: the Battery for the harbor views, Rainbow Row a couple of blocks on.
